Best Contribution in Wind Energy
Vestas India awarded for "Best Contribution in Wind Energy" in CBIP 2019 awards.
Every year Central Board of Irrigation & Power (CBIP), India recognize various organizations, stakeholders & professionals to promote their contribution in the Water, Power and Renewable Energy sectors. In CBIP Awards 2019, considering the excellent work done in the field of Wind Energy Sector, Vestas India has been honored for ‘Best Contribution in Wind Energy’. The award affirms the Vestas commitment to Indian market and will continue to deliver it with world-class product providing low cost of energy, end to end value chain and sustainable energy solutions.

Sustainable Energy Project
Vestas' Blade factory, India praised as Sustainable Energy Project in UNCTAD 2018.
Governmental agency Invest India won the United Nations’ award for excellence in promoting investments in sustainable development for the collaboration with Vestas on the Ahmedabad Blade factory in India. The ceremony was organized by the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) to honor Investment Promotion Agencies (IPA’s) and to highlight best exercises to promote investment in sustainable energy development goals related projects. The award ceremony took place at the World Investment Forum, Geneva, Switzerland.
The collaboration between Vestas India and Invest India resulted in commissioning of much awaited state-of-the-art blade factory in Ahmedabad, Gujarat within 15 months.

For collaboration with Vestas in India, Invest India wins Best Investment Promotion Agency at AIM 2018 awards
Invest India wins Best Investment Promotion Agency in South, East Asia and Oceania Region for Vestas Blade Factory project in India at the Annual Investment Meeting (AIM) 2018 held in Dubai recently. The AIM is the world's leading and most established gathering of the international investment community, leading academics and experts showcasing up-to-date information, strategies and knowledge on attracting Foreign Direct Investment (FDI).

Vestas Wind Technology India Pvt. Ltd. certified as "Great Place to Work" in 2018
Vestas Wind Technology India has been certified as a Great Place to Work (GPTW) for the tenure from April 2018 till March 2019. The executives visited different business units/ functions around the office and factory during the two-day celebrations.
